We were happy to know that Halal fish and chips are available here on Mondays and Tuesdays. We have ordered them and had them served to us. Enjoyed the hot and yummy food. Thanks Mario’s !!

The food we have ordered has always been great.Delivery some times slow, last night 30 minutes late, delivered by a someone with out a mask no attempt to maintain a social distance.

Nice chippy with lots of choice from chips to kebabs to pizzas. Card and cash also can pre order online or by phone.

We went into the shop for a takeaway. While we were ordering a server was called to a table to collect a rejected order. The server returned to the counter then scraped the chips off the plate back into the serving tray which our server started to serve to us. We refused the order as it was leftovers and described what wed seen which all the staff aknowledged. The owner offered to prepare a fresh batch of chips which we accepted. We went home to discover the chips were not hot! Therefore not a fresh frying! We threw them in the bin. Not acceptable and potentially unhealthy guys.

At last an excellent chippy in alfreton the fish is perfect every time. Really busy a sure good sign this chippy is worth a visit .The first part of my review is all true but called 14.02.2020 was disappointing ordered to take away and when we got home unwrapped to find my fish cake was missing :(( just couldnt be bothered to go back or phoned but has put us off going again. Sorry for the bad feedback but I just wanted to make you aware I know it was busy but mistake like this shouldnt happen . So Im afraid Ill be taking one star of the 5 star review I first gave you .

I had the Special £2 fish &:chips,which was on offer today to celebrate their brand new frying range & they now offer gluten free products.The fish was cooked to perfection, all covered in a light & crispy batter.The chips werent bad either.Youve gotta eat here

To be honest love the food most times sometimes its really greasy and horrible but ok my exceptions are that high for a fish and chip shop even though the food is gorgeous but today I come in and order and realise I forgot my card so they cancelled it and when I came back pretend like I was never here then I had to wait nearly and hour for a small and large pizza and two kebabs whilst the staff stood there and talked

First time going into Marios and was disappointed. Placed the order and waited for 15 minutes for some chips which werent cooked very well and didnt even taste nice, very salty and soggy. Avoid!

A nice chippy that actually has my favourite pizza from around the area. A chicken pizza that isnt tikka style, the roast chicken, is rare to see around here and I prefer it this way.
