An authentic Indian Fine Dine Restaurant with beautiful ambience, soul soothing and brain freezing cocktails and lip-smacking cuisines with unique preparations, this place is a must visit if you are an epicure. The entrees were really amazing especially the salmon, so well cooked and perfectly presented with a mustard chutney. The cocktails were a delight! The staff was courteous and very amiable. This has to be one of the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne.

Have been dining at Atta since their inception, over the years I have loved their food, every single time. I have hosted several functions and enjoyed some amazing meals with many of my close friends and family. We love the service provided by Brij and his team in front of the house while Harry & his team is cooking some of the best Indian food in their open kitchen. Highly recommend, if you are after quality service, great vibe, paired with amazing food & wine! Keep up the great work Team Atta.

I visited this restau few days back with my husband and was served by a very generous staff member named Roopali. She was very patient, polite and well informed about what she was to serve us on the table next. She not just suggested us the food options but also made us feel valued and thats what I personally loved about that evening. Nomatter where you go and how much you spend if you are not greeted well then you are in the wrong place. We loved the food and the way it was presented to us, because at the end of the day we only remember how were we made to feel. Roopali did more than just her job and I am grateful to her being so, she is an asset to your organisation. Atta Restaurant is a gem! It’s the best modern Indian restaurant we’ve been to in Melbourne, and we’ve been to many over the years. We enjoyed an outstanding dining experience and exceptional service. I don’t make a habit of writing reviews of restaurants but Atta is a rare exception and deserves all the praise it’s receiving (I see that most diners are giving it 5-star reviews here). We were greeted with genuine warmth that continued throughout the evening. The dishes were delicious; skilfully prepared and beautifully plated. The scents, colours, textures and flavours were well thought through and matched. To me, this is what it’s all about: high quality ingredients and masteful attention to detail. Every dish was absolutely spot-on. For entrees we ordered barrah kebab and tandoori jhinga – both mouth watering – and for mains we shared beef mircha, murgh khurchan, and nargeshi kofta (portions are generously sized). Desserts were a real treat: we shared saffron pannacotta and ras-malai - delightful (see pics). The Atta team were welcoming, friendly, and had the professional knack for making us - and every other diner - feel like the most important people there. We’ll definitely return, and soon.

Really delicious food in a stylish modern setting.The owners of Atta have done a fantastic job with the menu and the fit-out of this place. It is clearly a labour of love, with lots of careful attention to detail, and this is reflected in the quality of the food and the overall dining experience.Food-wise, I particularly enjoyed the Tandoori Machi with barramundi fillets, a much higher quality fish than you usually get at Indian restaurants. My partner loved the Murgh Khurchan. Worth noting, the serving sizes are very generous and we couldn’t finish everything (as much as we tried!).The service is warm and welcoming and overall we had a fantastic night out. Highly recommended!Forgot to mention, the food is beautifully presented. I wish I had taken more photos!
