Venue - Natural light fills the space and has great views of the city and hills. Wood and glass decor is tasteful.Service - Our waiting staff member was polite and very friendly. Served us well.Food - Menu is mostly seafood but has good meat options. I tried the lobster rolls, wagyu steak and teriyaki chicken. Steak was cooked perfectly to my preference and had a great taste. Chicken was unlike anything I have had before. It was moist and juicy, full of flavour and pickled ginger just elevated the flavours. Lobster rolls were delicious .Price - In my opinion, for the quantity, quality, taste and services offered, Koomo is over priced. I will be willing to dine again if it was priced better but at current rate, I won’t be dining again any time soon.I’ll recommend a visit and experience this Japanese restaurant yourself at least once.

Service is major failure of this restaurant and it seems to come from the top. We reserved a table on a Thursday night but when we arrived we needed to go looking for the manager to get us seated which was done at an unset table. We were then handed menus and promptly told we need to order everything we wanted to eat in the next 2 minutes because the kitchen was closing. Called the manager back just to have him smugly confirm the fact.The menu is not expansive which generally isnt a problem when its executed well. Unfortunately many ingredients were not available and therefore a number of the dishes werent either. We ordered cocktails which were poorly presented and seemingly made by a bartender on their first day behind the bar.The food, when it arrived was hurridly served and while not terrible, certainly did not justify its expense. The final straw was having our napkins removed from us before wed finished eating so they could be taken to the laundry and the waitress could go home.A really disappointing experience. Id love to say glowing things about this place but the whole experience just stank of an inexperienced staff who seemed like they didnt know any better being led by a manager who just didnt care to show them.

The food was good but the service was pretty average.

Unbelievable cuisine. Had the seared kingfish and 200 gram sirloin steak absolutely perfect! I’ll have to go back again and try more of their fantastic food. The portions aren’t very large due to an Asian Fusion theme but it did certainly satisfy.
