This place has mostly larger dogs but its not a bad place to go for an adoption. If your looking for a small dog or a puppy good luck. The one dog they had we wanted, you had to enter into a drawing for it. Otherwise its a nice place and the staff are calm headed and nice.

Im heartbroken by the employees of our animal shelter. I feel like they need a better way of weeding through their applicants to make sure they arent animal abusers. I called about 3 2 week old kittens not long ago and the advice i was given by the girl that answered was to DUMP the kittens on the side of the road because they are going to die anyways. She didnt have any sympathy nor human decency in her response. Even after I reminded her what she recommended was ILLEGAL!! Our strays and orphaned animals deserve better than what they are recommending/doing

I adopted this precious little girl 3/24/18. She was a matted mess and super super nervous. The only thing I didnt like was that they had terrier mix on her card when in reality shes either a full blooded Shih tzu or a Shih tzu mix. Other than that the process was easy and surprisingly she didnt need any decompression time...she got along with my other 2 dogs perfectly fine from the moment I got home from the groomer with her. Shes my pretty little princess.

They say there open on Saturday but no one picks up the phone.

These people work very hard to take care of all the animals. They always are in need of people who can foster animals temporarily.

Very busy slow service not much help. Handicap parking and easy access.

Adopted a puppy that had parvo, had no idea. All their cats were sick. SO SO disappointed and heartbroken!!

Right before they gave my Pomeranian the last shot some tall man I dont know what he is, picked up my dog by the back of the neck and near his tail I do not know what his reason was but I thought that was pretty inhumane !!

Got a cat, she had no fleas or other issues. The place didn’t wow me or anything but you can’t complain bringing home a shelter animal with no issues that need immediately addressed.

Thanks for the work you do. We saw a dog we wanted but she has to go through a waiting process. We tried to fill out application and prepay but we weren’t allowed to before her waiting period is over. This is a silly rule. The priority should be homing animals, and removing red tape will help this endeavor.
