Lovely food, but abit worrying to see only two out of nine staff members (of which we saw) wearing face mask while the pandemic is clearly on and no enforcement of customers to wear them either.

Worse fish and chips weve ever had! I ordered 4 cod and chips with 2 curry sauce and 1 mushy peas, I asked for salt and vinegar and recieved none the fish was rubbery and tasteless the chips were full of eyes and bad bits in them. When we sat down to eat them the mushy peas were missing too! I dont mind paying good money for good food but we paid over £30 and they ended up in the bin!!

Cannot beat this place for food! A must if you are in the area. Great gluten free menu too

Had large fish and chips, tasted ok but 27 chips was a little concerning. I don’t mind paying good money for food but having to buy more food as your still hungry isn’t right. Won’t be back.

Love this place, Ive been going here for so many years, a trip to Aberaeron isnt complete without fish & chips from here. The selection of deserts are incredible, sometimes its quite hard to choose from ! Great coffee as well !

Had lunch here August 8th 2020, very nice polite staff clean table.The food came pretty quickly and was well above average. The salad I had was not your usual bit of lettuce cucumber and tomato ig was well made and presented wish Id taken a picture.Sure if you try you wont be disappointed.

Superb takeaway fish and chips and then sit watching the waves in the harbour.. heaven.

I went there in the morning for a coffee and was very pleased with the service. I was served by a woman who was very polite. The drink was lovely and the environment was much nicer than being stuck indoors.

Really bad takeaway for the second time now. Chips were soggy and as though theyd been cooked very slowly in warm not hot fat/oil. They were hard around the edges and stuck in our teeth and the fish was a very mean portion! Is this because the holiday makers have left and we went on a mid week day as locals? We wont be returning any time soon. Big disappointment. Used to be very good.

Had three lots of fish and chips and extremely disappointed. Been here a few times but this time it was very poor. Wet fish with no taste and soggy batter. Chips were ok. Shall not be returning as expensive for poor quality.

Oh man, that was so good fish and chips! It will be busy so prepare for a wait but be assured it is worth it.

My first time at this restaurant and was really looking forward to fish and chips. Sadly very very greasy had the place which is my favourite fish and was tasteless watery and very greasy. Staff lovely but food not so good. Very disappointed!!!!

We use this fish and chip shop on a regular basis as we have a caravan based locally. Although the prices are a little high compared to where we live, the food is generally of a very good standard. We have both eaten in (Staff very friendly and helpful) and also have taken away.Very good chips not greasy. The fish is very good quality. best chips in Aberaeron!!!

I love this place. I have been making a special journey here for fish & chips for over 40 years. Always followed up with an icecream from the Hive on the other corner of the harbour.

Excellent service. The food is always good. Some prices are a little higher. On the whole well worth a visit. Breakfast , lunch or dinner. Snacks or a coffee/ tea.Ice cream or fish and chips all available.

THE ‘plaice’ to get your fish and chips come rain or cone shine. We are regular customers on a Friday night. I highly recommend the Cod and chips. They run a tight ship and will offer you great service too.

Versatile menu and although you can get anything from breakfast, to full roast dinner, to cream teas, they are also serve the best fish and chips on the planet. The plaice is my favourite. Never lets us down, season after season, year after year. Thank you!

Recently ate in and had great fish and chips. Along with the usual offerings of a fish and chip restaurant they do have curry, sea bass, steaks and burgers. View over the harbour at night is great.
